Respondent No.3 has filed an affidavit to the effect that in terms of the directions issued by this Court, he has relinquished the charge and handed-over the duties of District Sainik Welfare Officer, w.e.f. 26.4.2012.
Second respondent has also filed the reply-affidavit highlighting the consequential action already taken pursuant to the directions issued by this Court including an enquiry to fix the responsibility in the matter which is to be conducted by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Punjab, Department of Defence Service Welfare.
In view of the aforesaid action taken by the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied that the needful has been done.
The contempt petition stands disposed of accordingly.
