The present writ petition was registered on the basis of a telegram received from Raj Rani wife of Parkash. It is stated therein that Balwinder Singh son of Gurpreet Singh, aged about 13 years, was picked up by the Station House Officer, Police Station Sadar, Khanna, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Khanna and Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, from the house of the petitioner-Raj Rani.
Learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions from Avtar Ali, Head Constable, Police Station, Sadar, Khanna, has submitted that Balwinder Singh, grand son of petitioner-Rani, was not taken into custody by the police. He further submitted that he is also not required by the police.

10.11.2010. Thereafter, the petitioner has not pursued the matter.
In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent, no further directions are required to be issued. However, a copy of this order be sent to the petitioner-Raj Rani wife of Parkash, so that, in case any grievance subsists, she may take recourse to her lawful remedy.
With the observations made above, the present writ petition is disposed of.
