This petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed by Rajwinder Singh @ Dhadi, petitioner-accused, for the grant of regular bail in FIR No. 53 dated 12.6.2011 registered under Sections 323, 324, 326, 341 and 427 read with Section 34 IPC in Police Station S.G.N. Dev Thermal Plant, District Bathinda. The accusation against him is that he gave one blow from the blunt side of the gandasa on the head of Navdeep Singh and that injury was found to be simple. The petitioner is coming in custody since 20.7.2011. The conclusion of the trial will take long time.
Keeping in view all these facts and without expressing any

opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail to the satisfaction of the trial court subject to the following conditions:-
(i)He shall not offer any threat, promise or inducement to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the same to the Investigating Officer/Court; and
(ii)He shall not leave the limits of this country without prior
permission of the Court.
