The petitioner/accused—Rohtash son of Shri Daria Singh, has filed the present petition under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 233 dated 25.7.2011 registered under Sections 323, 336, 506/34 IPC in Police Station Sector 31, Chandigarh. He was granted interim anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 3.11.2011, subject to the conditions incorporated therein. It has been stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that in pursuance of the order dated 3.11.2011, he has joined the investigation.
Learned counsel for the Union Territory, Chandigarh Administration, on instructions from S.I. Kishan, states that the petitioner is not required for any further investigation.
In these circumstances, the interim anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions contained therein. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
