By filing this petition, petitioner has alleged that First Information Report No.180 dated September 17th , 2008 (Annexure P1) under Section 420/120-B of the Indian Penal Code was registered in Police Station Sultanwind, District Amritsar on the statement of the petitioner but no action has been taken by the Police.
Learned State counsel has stated that during investigation, two accused named in the FIR were found innocent and against the third one, proclamation proceedings are pending before the Area Magistrate.
In view of this, no action is warranted.
Disposed of accordingly.
