The husband of petitioner No. 1 and father of petitioner No. 2 runs a shop of sale and purchase of arms in district Sirsa. The dispute is in relation to the purchase of a .32 Bore Revolver WS bearing No. B-85213. An FIR No. 31, dated 19.04.2000 under Sections

406/420 IPC, at Police Station Kotwali, Ludhiana was registered in which investigation was initiated. In relation to the investigation vide Annexure P-2 summon under section 160 Cr.P.C was issued to join the investigation. In reply vide Annexure P-3 the petitioner has sent a representation to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana. In reply Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kotwali, District Ludhiana denied the fact and replied that they had never received this representation.

Ends of justice will meet by giving a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana to look into the representation of petitioner No.1(Annexure P-3) and pass an appropriate orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
