This order shall dispose of two petitions namely, CRM-M-19036 of 2011 titled as “ Gurmeet Singh and others Versus State of Punjab” and “CRM-M17932 of 2011 titled as Charanjit Kaur Versus State of Punjab” in which the petitioners have prayed for pre-arrest bail in case registered vide FIR Nos.39 dated 8.5.2011 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 & 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC) at Police Station Sudhar, Ludhiana Rural.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that in CRM-M17932 of 2011 arrest of the petitioner was stayed by this Court on 9.6.2011 and in CRM-M-19036 of 2011, interim order passed on 27.6.2011 in the same terms as in CRM-M-17932 of 2011. He further submits that in both the cases, petitioners have joined the investigation.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions received from HC Harpreet Singh, accepts the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners and also submits that the petitioners are not required for further investigation.

In view thereof order dated 09.06.2011 passed in CRM-M-17932 of 2011 and order dated 27.6.2011 passed in CRM-M-19036 of 2011 are hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. Petitions are disposed of.
