This is a petition for bail in a pending trial case registered vide FIR No.20 dated 31.1.2011 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 199, 200 & 120B of the Indian Penal Code (for short ‘IPC’) at Police Station Division No.5, Ludhiana.
The allegation against the petitioner is that he has given fake surety before the Court.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he is in custody since 31.1.2011 and the challan has already been presented.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case but without making any observation on merits, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing heavy surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
