The prayer made in this petition is for a direction to respondents No.1,2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner as he apprehends threat at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5.
Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that grievance of the petitioner shall be looked into by respondent No.2.
In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, it appears that no further orders are required to be passed by this court. Even otherwise, it is the duty of the State to protect the life and liberty of the citizens in view of Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
Disposed of.
