This is a petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection to life and liberty as also registration of case against Sarbat Singh s/o Niranjan Singh.
Learned State counsel submits at the outset that the matter has been inquired into and dispute has been found to be civil in nature. Learned counsel has referred to reply by way of affidavit of Mukhwinder Singh, DSP Sub Division Malout in support of his contention.
In view of above, no further orders are required to be passed by
this court.
Disposed of.
In case, however, any cognizable offence is made out, petitioner may avail of alternative remedy available under the law.
