The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.30, dated 21.4.2011, registered under Sections 323, 324, 326, 506, 341, 148, 149, 326 of the IPC, at Police Station Dugri, Ludhiana.
On 27.5.2011, the following contention was noticed :-
“ Learned counsel states that there is no allegation of violence against the petitioner and actually it is a crossversion case where even some persons from the petitioner's side have received injuries.”
Counsel for the respondent, on instructions from HC Gurvinder Singh, has accepted this factual assertion.
In the circumstances, I deem it appropriate to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Consequently, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 12.8.2011 and in the event of his arrest, he shall be released on anticipatory bail by the Investigating Officer to his satisfaction subject to the conditions as laid down in Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
Petition stands disposed of.
