This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking prearrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner under Sections 406, 498-A and 506 IPC at Police Station Sector 14, Panchkula, vide FIR No.20 dated 4th March, 2011.
Learned State counsel (on the instructions from Head Constable Ram Chander, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated May 05, 2011, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.
In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim order dated May 05, 2011 is hereby made absolute, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
The petition stands allowed in aforesaid terms.
