This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking prearrest bail in a case registered against the petitioners under Sections 323, 324, 452, 506, 148 and 149 IPC at Police Station Division No.7, Jalandhar, vide FIR No.23 dated 26th January, 2011.
Learned State counsel submits that pursuant to order dated May 05, 2011, the petitioners have joined the investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation.
In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim order dated May 05, 2011 is hereby made absolute, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
The petition stands allowed in aforesaid terms.
