This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case F.I.R. No.144 dated 17.12.2010 registered under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Islamabad, District Amritsar City.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that the only fault of the petitioner was that he had introduced the complainant to the main accused who had taken bulk of the money and has absconded and now the petitioner has been in custody for almost 3 months.
On instructions from ASI Rajinder Pal learned Deputy Advocate General has accepted these factual assertions.
In the circumstances, I deem it appropriate to grant regular bail to the petitioner to the satisfaction of the C.J.M./Duty Magistrate, Amritsar.
Ordered accordingly.
