In this petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his case and allot him a plot measuring 14 marlas under the oustees policy.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation dated 24.11.2008 (Annexure P- 14) to the respondents for the same relief as claimed in this writ petition but no action has been taken thereon so far and he shall feel satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to decide the same in a given time frame.
After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the file, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the representation (Annexure P-14) sent by the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
