This petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for selection and appointment as JBT/ETT Teacher in the category of Wards of Freedom Fighter against a vacant post in District Patiala.
Learned counsel for the respondent-state contends that it is made out from the reply that the petitioner has been given offer of appointment against a vacant post of teaching fellow. Copy of the order has been placed on record as Annexure R-1. The petitioner, in fact, has joined w.e.f. 09.07.2010.
In view of the stand of learned counsel for the respondentState, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
