This is a petition which is entertained on the basis of letter received from Jail inmate in District Jail, Karnal. He has sought directions for transferring him from District Jail, Karnal to Central Jail, Patiala.
Learned State counsel at the outset submits that the letter sent by the inmate will be treated as representation and decision will be taken thereon by the concerned authority within a period of two months.
In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, no further orders are required to be passed at this stage.
