The present petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.366 dated 11.9.2009 registered under Sections 406/498-A of IPC at Police Station Phase-I Mohali.

It is admitted by learned counsel for the parties that the matter has been settled between the parties for a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- which is to be paid to the complainant by the petitioner as full and final payment. Out of the total amount, Rs.3,50,000/- is to be paid today itself before the District Judge, Chandigarh, in the petition filed under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage, Act, and the remaining amount shall be paid on the next date of hearing.

Accordingly, order dated 17.6.2010 is made absolute and the petition is allowed as such.
