The petitioner, who is serving as Fertilizer Clerk in the Punjab Agro Foodgrains Corporation Limited, Center Patti, District Tarn Taran, has filed the instant petition for issuing direction to the respondents to release the part of the amount of his salary which has been illegally deducted.
Counsel for the respondents while referring to the written statement, submitted that concededly for the amount deducted from the salary of the petitioner, a show-cause notice has been issued to which the petitioner has replied and he has also been heard. She further states that a final decision in the said show-cause notice will be taken within one month, and if nothing is found due against the petitioner, then the deducted amount will be refunded to the petitioner along with interest at the rate of 8% within one month thereafter. In case the said matter is decided against the petitioner, it will be open for the petitioner to challenge the same.
Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
