This petition has been moved by Bijender, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. read with Rule 8(1) of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) (Amendment) Rule 2007, seeking emergency parole for admission of his daughter, as well as his brother's daughter (niece).
I have heard the counsels for the parties, besides perusing the record with due care and circumspection.
This petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents that the petitioner shall be released on parole in view of the provision of Rule 8(1) of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) (Amendment) Rule 2007, for a period of one week from the date of his

release, subject to the satisfaction of District Magistrate, Sonepat, who shall take an adequate surety before releasing him under the rules. After expiry of the abovesaid parole period, the petitioner shall surrender before the
Superintendent, District Jail, Sonepat-Respondent No.3.
