The learned State counsel, under instructions from SI Gurmeet Singh, informs that the charge in the present case was framed on 08.08.2009 and the matter is presently fixed for today for recording of the prosecution evidence.
On consensual basis, this petition shall stand disposed of with a direction to the learned Trial Court to positively conclude the trial itself on or before 28.02.2010. In case the trial is not concluded by that period, the petitioner shall be released on bail to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court. The State shall also be under a liability to conclude its evidence by the date aforementioned.
The acknowledgment (of copy of this order) issued by the concerned Judicial Officer shall be forwarded to the Registry of this Court. Learned Sessions Judge shall himself maintain a tab to ensure that the case is disposed of by aforementioned date.
