The prayer made by the petitioner is that the transfer order dated 5.9.2007(Annexure P2) passed by the respondents transferring Sub Inspector Daljit Singh Khakh-respondent No.6 be cancelled. It has further been prayed that respondent No.6 be transferred out of district Hoshiarpur as per the recommendations made by the Additional Director General of Police (Crime) has been granted by respondent No.3.
Mr.Suvir Sehgal, learned counsel for the State has stated that respondent No.6 has been transferred to Nawanshahar.
In view of the above, writ petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
