JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 28-07-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is languishing in jail since 26.09.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 3 (I) (X) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. It is alleged that two miscreants came on motorcycle and resorted to fire. Though, first shot did not cause any injury but due to second shot, the informant received injury on his leg. It is also alleged that extortion demand of Rs. 50 lakhs were made from the owner of paltry form namely Pankaj Kumar, though, the FIR was lodged against unknown. Name of the petitioner sprang up on the confession of co-accused.
