Case No. 324 of 2013 registered for the offences under Section 406, 420, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna. The prosecution case is that the informant gave two cheques for Rs.2,60,000/- for purchase of the land but neither the land was purchased nor the money was returned. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the land was purchased in the name of the wife of the informant on 27.04.2006 and earlier the petitioner side gave notice for return of Rs.1,84,500/-.
