The petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased seeks bail in a case which has been registered under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code. The informant’s daughter was married two years prior to the occurrence with Subodh Singh, son of the petitioner but she was being tortured and she was being pressurized to bring the additional dowry. Subsequently, she was burnt to death.

Submission is that the petitioner is separate from the deceased or her husband and there is no specific allegation against him.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,

let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/court concerned, Munger in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No. 130 of 2013. (Shyam Kishore Sharma, J.)
