2 26-11-2013 As per the case of the petitioner, it worked as clearing and forwarding agent of consignments on behalf of Department of I.C.D.S. (formerly Social Welfare) of the State Government in the year 1999. Thereafter, it submitted its bills. Bills were processed and advance was adjusted and thereafter, as per its case, an amount of Rs.,19.51 lakhs still remains due to it.

In the circumstances, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Director, I.C.D.S. to see to it that pending bills of the petitioner are examined, processed and cleared and necessary funds are arranged, if necessary, and outstanding admitted amount is paid to the petitioner positively within two

months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which, petitioner shall be entitled to an interest at the rate of 12% compoundable yearly, which shall be paid by the Director, I.C.D.S. from his own pocket.
