The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 290 of the Indian Penal Code and 47(a) of the Excise Act. 65 sachets of country made liquor were recovered from Bharat Ram who subsequently disclosed that he brought the liquor from the godown of this petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the Chairman of PACS and a statement has been made in paragraph no. 10 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
