Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
This is a petition for grant of regular bail in a case under Sections 379 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.
The First Information Report is against unknown. There is allegation of attempt of theft and murder, though the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner fired at the police party and managed to flee away due to darkness.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been arrested at the spot and the only material against the petitioner is the self confession.
Learned counsel for the State submits that five cases are pending against the petitioner.
Hence, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is ordered to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand)
