JUSTICE GOPAL PRASAD ORAL ORDER 3 08-04-2013 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 20, 22, 23, 24, 27(A) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. It is alleged that on secret information the police found five persons coming with bundle of ganja. The police rash and caught hold five persons along with ganja.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been named amongst the five persons and was catching hold of the train. However, hence, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case that the petitioner alleged to have been arrested with ganja, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail is rejected. .The trial may be expedited.
