The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rupouli (Tikapatti) P.S. Case No. 10 of 2001 registered under Sections 323, 324 and 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant, Pinki Devi, who is the wife of the petitioner, has left the house of the petitioner and performed remarriage. It is also submitted that informant has filed this false case only to harass the petitioner and other family members and the petitioner is in jail custody since 17.04.2013.
The allegation against the petitioner along with his family members is to torture his wife-informant after performing remarriage with Nitu Devi and also assaulted brother of the informant, Promod Kumar.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, in connection with Rupouli (Tikapatti) P.S. Case No. 10 of 2001.
