The Petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 323, 313, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
Considering that the Petitioner kept absconding for a number of years even though he was named in the First Information Report, I am not inclined to grant him bail. The prayer for bail is rejected.
However, since there has been a compromise between the parties the Petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge if his case is not bifurcated for the purpose of commitment or charge.
