Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 379 of the Penal Code with regard to theft of electric wire.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the only material against the petitioner is the confessional statement of the accused-petitioner and nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
Hence, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No. 428 of 2011 to the satisfaction of Sri N.K. Thakur, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Hilsa, Nalanda.
