The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to designate him as Asst. Professor in Physical Education by treating him as the teaching staff w.e.f. 11.01.1991 and further seeks direction to the opposite parties to consider his case for grant of UGC/ICAR scale of pay w.e.f. 11.01.1991 along with promotional benefits like senior scale and selection grade as per the guidelines of UGC/ICAR.
As it appears, though this writ petition was filed on 30.03.2012 but till date notice has not been issued to the opposite parties and in the meantime eight year have passed. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue notice to the opposite parties at this stage after lapse of more than eight years.
However, in course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has no instruction in the matter.
In such view of the matter, this writ petition stands disposed of for want of instructions. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if any cause of action still survives.
