Although the present writ petition challenges an order dated 8^th December 2010 of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack (CAT), there have been several subsequent developments in the matter including orders of the Supreme Court of India in other related matters and instructions issued from time to time by the Department of

Posts, copies of which have been enclosed with the present petition, affidavit and applications.

It further transpires that some orders in favour of the Petitioner were issued by the Office of the Chief Post Master General (Orissa Circle) on 21^st November 2017. According to the Petitioner, this was sought to be changed to his disadvantage by a subsequent order dated 2^nd June, 2021.

It appears to the Court that all the subsequent developments have rendered the challenge to the order dated 8^th December 2010 of the CAT academic. The Petitioner should work out his remedy in terms of the subsequent orders and instructions in separate substantive proceedings. If he wishes to claim any reliefs as a result thereof, he is at liberty to institute separate proceedings in the appropriate forum.

With the above observations, the present writ petition and the I.A. are disposed of.
