Heard Mr. S.N. Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to opposite parties no.1 and 2 to close the loan account of the petitioner by way of One Time Settlement by deleting the penal interest payable on the loan account by charging usual interest payable on the loan account within a stipulated period.
The petitioner had availed a housing loan of Rs.30,000/-(thirty thousand) from the Odisha Rural Housing Development Corporation Ltd. on 07.11.2000. In the meantime, the said amount has been enhanced. As such, the petitioner wants to settle the account on the basis of One Time Settlement Scheme. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
As it appears, the petitioner has not approached the authority claiming to settle the loan account by One Time Settlement Scheme. Therefore, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh representation within a period of fifteen days from today ventilating his grievances before the authority. In the event the petitioner files such representation along with authenticated copy of this order, the authority shall consider and pass appropriate order in conformity with

the provisions of law within a period of two months thereafter.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
As the restrictions are continuing for COVID-19, learned counsel for the petitioner may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s Website or print out thereof at par with certified copies in the manner prescribed vide Court’s Notification No.4587 dated 25.3.2020.
