2. 22.02.2021 Heard Mr. H.K.Mahanta, leaned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel.
According to Mr. Mahanta, the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in extending her the benefits under Nirmana Shramik Pucca Ghar Yojana, though she is a registered construction worker with Registration No.43921 issued under Annexure-1. During course of hearing, he submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the District Labour Officer, Mayurbhanj (opposite party no.3) for redressal of her grievances and prays that a direction be given to the said opposite party to take a decision on such motion within a stipulated time period.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the District Labour Officer, Mayurbhanj(opposite party no.3) within a period of two weeks by Registered post along with a copy of this order. In the event, such a motion is made, the said opposite party is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such representation and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
The writ application is accordingly disposed of.
