The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the order of disengagement passed by the authority under
Annexure-7 dated 15.03.2021.
Mr. J. Pattnaik, learned Addl. Government Advocate contended that the writ petition is not maintainable, as the petitioner is an employee of the cooperative society. It is contended that any dispute with regard to service matter of the cooperative society, the petitioner has to approach the appropriate forum under Section 67-B of the Cooperative Society Act. Instead of approaching the appropriate forum, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition, which is not maintainable.
Considering the contention raised by learned Addl. Government Advocate, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid liberty, the writ petition stands disposed
of.
