2 26.04.2021 Heard Mr. Dash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Dhal, learned Addl. Government Advocate through video conferencing mode.
According to Mr. Dash, the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities more particularly the Sub-Collector, Chhatrapur (opposite party no.3) in supplying him e-POS device when the petitioner is prepared to pay the full cost of the same. He further submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to file a representation before the Sub-Collector, Chhatrapur (opposite party no.3) for redressal of his grievances and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such representation within a specific time period.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the Sub-Collector, Chhatrapur (opposite party no.3) within a period of two weeks along with a copy of this order through registered post. In the event such a representation is received by the opposite party no.3, the said opposite party is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the representation and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
