26.04.2021 The matter is taken up through video conferencing. Heard Mr. A. Tripathy, learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned State counsel.

This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to the Petitioner Purna Chandra Naik in connection with G.R. Case No.72 of 2021 arising out of Khaparakhol P.S. Case No.23 of 2021 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Patnagarh for alleged commission of offence under Sections 450/395 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 25 and 27 of Arms Act and Section 9(B) and Section 3 & 4 of Explosive Act.

After hearing both parties and considering the nature of allegations, I am not inclined to release the Petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail stands rejected.

However, the Petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after submission of charge-sheet.

The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court’s website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court’s Notice No.4587, dated 25^th March, 2020 as modified by Court’s Notice No. 4798, dated 15^th April, 2021.
