This matter is taken up through Video conferencing. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by submitting a representation to the Collector, KandhamalO.P.2 the petitioner has already made a grievance in the matter of promotion of juniors to the petitioner. Bringing to the notice of this Court the list at page 11 of the brief learned counsel for the petitioner also attempted to justify his claim. It is, at this stage of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner also requested this Court to direct the O.P.2 to take a decision in the matter at least prior to next promotion to the rank of Section Officer.
Considering the above request made on behalf of the petitioner this Court directs the O.P.2 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner vide Annexure-4 taking into account the grounds stated in the Writ Petition.
The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of one & half months prior to next promotion to the rank of Section Officer.
The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
