The matter is taken up through video conferencing.
The petitioner being in custody in connection with EOW Bhubaneswar P.S. Case No. 19 of 2015 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 30 of 2015 on the file of learned Presiding Officer, Designated Court under OPID Act, Cuttack running for alleged commission of offence under section 420/406/467/468/471/120-B of the IPC read with section 6 of the OPID Act, has filed this application for grant of interim bail.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
Considering the submissions made and keeping in view the nature of accusations as also the role said to have been played by the petitioner in the incident as those emanate from the materials on record and seriousness of the allegations as also the manner of commission of the offences as well as the other surrounding circumstances; I am not inclined to grant of interim bail to the petitioner on the grounds as advanced.
The BLAPL is accordingly dismissed.
