Heard Mr. S.K. Nath, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B.Satpathy, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department.
The petitioner files this application to quash the second show cause notice under Annexure-1 dated 13.09.2012, by which the petitioner has been called upon to give his reply by 16.10.2012 with regard to his disengagement from the post of Shikshya Sahayak.
This Court, while entertaining the writ application, issued notice to the opposite parties and passed an interim order on 19.10.2012 to the effect that let the enquiry continue and the petitioner’s show cause be considered but the result shall not be declared without permission of this Court.
Mr. S.K. Nath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court the petitioner filed reply, but what is the subsequent development taken place in the meantime, since more than seven years have elapsed by this time, he has no instruction at this stage. Therefore, he contends that if the enquiry is still continuing, this writ petition may be disposed of directing the opposite parties to conclude the same as expeditiously as possible.

To the above submission, Mr. B.Satpathy, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department has raised no objection.
In this view of the matter, the writ application stands disposed of with the direction to the opposite parties that in case the enquiry proceeding is still pending, the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.
