By way of this appeal, the appellant has challenged the order dated 17.09.2007 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.(C) No.11842 of 2006 whereby the writ petition filed by the present appellant seeking a direction to the opposite parties therein to pay his balance dues as per the VRS/VSS Scheme for the period from 01.07.1990 to 31.12.1998, was dismissed.
It appears that this appeal was filed in the year 2007 and in the meantime about twelve years have elapsed. Further, after 15.10.2007, no step was taken by the learned counsel for the appellant at any point of time to get the matter listed. Further, it seems that by efflux of time, this appeal has become infructuous.
In view of the above, this appeal stands dismissed.

It is made clear that the appellant will be at liberty to file an application within thirty days from today for revival of this appeal in case of any difficulty.
