02. 22.06.2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.856(a) of 1997 on the file of learned J.M.F.C., Pipili registered under Sections 341/323/324/34, I.P.C. read with Section 9(b) of the Indian Explosives Act.
It is alleged that the petitioner along with other persons assaulted brother of the informant and exploded a bomb causing injuries.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that final charge-sheet has already been submitted and one co-accused, after facing trial in the split up case, has been acquitted by the learned trial court after trial and subsequently, the petitioner being arrested is in custody since 1st week of May, 2018.
Copy of the judgment and the statements of the witnesses are placed before the Court for perusal.
Considering the submissions and the materials placed before the Court, it is directed that let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper by the learned J.M.F.C., Pipili in the aforesaid case.
The Bail Application is accordingly disposed of.
