02.03.2017 Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, it is felt that the p
urpose of filing of the writ petition will be satisfied if a liberty is given to the petitione
r to make a representation before the opposite party no.2 for his promotion to the post of Exe
cutive Engineer/City Engineer in Municipal Corporation cadre.
Accordingly, the petitioner is given liberty to file a representation before t
he opposite party no.2 within fifteen days ventilating his grievances, annexing a certified co
py of this order and a copy of the brief. On such event, the opposite party no.2 shall consid
er his representation and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner
dispose of the same by a reasoned order within a period of four months thereafter.
The writ petition is disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
