Heard Mr. B. Mansingh, learned counsel for the petitioner.
In this wit application, the petitioner has prayed for quashing of the order of transf
er dated 5.9.2017 under Annexure-1 transferring her from Bhubaneswar Branch to Nayagarh Branch
of Allahabad Bank.
However, during course of hearing, Mr. Mansingh, learned counsel for the petitioner su
bmits that though highlighting all her grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation b
efore opposite party No.1 on 6.9.2017 vide Annexure-2 but till date the said representation is
still pending. Accordingly, he prays that a direction be given to opposite party No.1 to disp
ose of the said representation within a stipulated time period.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of t
he case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to dispose of the representation dated 6.9.201
7 (Annexure-2) filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt
of certified copy of this order by passing a reasoned order. This Court further directs the pe
titioner to supply an extra copy of representation under Annexure-2 to opposite party No.1 whi
le presenting the certified copy of this order in order to facilitate disposal of the same wit
hin the time period indicated above.
Till disposal of the representation, no coercive action shall be taken against the pet
itioner.
The writ application is accordingly disposed of.
Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
