Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
In this writ application, the grievance of the petitioner relates to release of financ
ial dues to the tune of Rs.12,29,117/- with 15% interest for the delay in making payment of th
e same from the date of retirement till the date of payment in his favour.
In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though highlight
ing his grievances, the petitioner has filed representation under Annexure-6 series on 1.8.201
6 before opposite party No.2, the same is pending disposal till date. Accordingly, he prays th
at necessary direction be given to opp. party No.2 to dispose of the said representation withi
n a stipulated time period.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of t
he case, this Court directs the opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the representation d
ated 1.8.2016 filed by the petitioner, as stated above, within a period of six week from the d
ate of production of certified copy of this order by passing a reasoned order in accordance wi
th law. This Court further directs the petitioner to furnish copy of the representations dated
1.8.2016 to opp. party No.2 while presenting the certified copy of this order in order to fac
ilitating disposal of the same within the above mentioned time limit.
The writ application is accordingly disposed of.
