 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
 In this writ application, the petitioner has made a prayer to direct the opp. parties
to pay the gratuity and other arrear service benefits with up-to-date interest of his late fat
her to him.

 In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though highlight
ing his grievances, the petitioner has moved before opp. party No.1 on 2.5.2017 vide Annexure-
4, till date, the opp. party No.1 has not taken any decision thereon. Accordingly, he prays th
at a direction be given to opp. party No.1 to dispose of the said representation within a stip
ulated time period.

 Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of t
he case, this Court directs the opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the representation o
f the petitioner dated 2.5.2017 under Annexure-4 within a period of eight weeks from the date
of production of certified copy of this order by passing a reasoned order in accordance with l
aw. This Court further directs the petitioner to supply a copy of representation under Annexur
e-4 to opposite party No.1 while presenting certified copy of this order in order to facilitat
e disposal of the same within the time period indicated above. While disposing of the represen
tation of the petitioner, the opp. party No.1 should keep in mind the rights if any of the leg
al heirs of deceased-Akshyaya Kumar Mohapatra.

 The writ application is accordingly disposed of.
 Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
