Heard Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.K. Mishra, learned Add
itional Government Advocate.
In this writ application, though the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the oppo
site parties to release the retirement benefits like unutilized leave salary and gratuity, how
ever, during house of hearing, Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that li
berty be granted to the petitioner to file a representation before opposite party no.2 highlig
hting all his grievances. Further, he prays that a direction be given to opposite party no.2 t
o dispose of the said representation within a stipulated time.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of t
he case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a representation highlighting all
his grievances before opposite party no.2 within a period of two weeks from today. In the eve
nt, such representation is filed along with certified copy of this order, the opposite party n
o.2 would do well to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law wi
thin a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
The writ application is accordingly disposed of.
