22.8.2016 It is seen that against the impugned order dated 12.5.2016 under Annexure-5 which has
been passed by the Sub-Collector, Puri in Supply Misc. Case No.01 of 2016, an appeal is mainta
inable under Clause 17 of Orissa Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2008. Since alter
native and efficacious remedy is available, I am not inclined to entertain this writ applicati
on.
Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of.
Since stipulated period in preferring an appeal has already expired, if an application f
or condonation of delay is filed, the learned Appellate Authority shall favourably consider su
ch application.
